Swansea High School boys mentor the Aboriginal Boys Didge Group at Swansea Public School

Swansea High School are making their way around the community of schools and this showcases some of their time with the Swansea Public School’s Aboriginal Boys Didge group.

Once a week for one hour, Swansea High boys come to mentor and teach Swansea Public boys the didge. The boys are loving the sessions and feeling more connected to their culture each week.

The deadly tunes that they are pumping out are making the entire school envious.

“I love it ’cause the didges are awesome”, Jorell, Year 3

“I love it ’cause you can get all different sounds out of the didge”, Caleb, Year 1
